We built say.work for our own business.
We develop software for customers, while say.work helps us run our own projects and company. We use it every day and develop it as our team's needs grow.
It started with our work at 9bits.
9bits is a Polish technology company based in Warsaw. Since 2009, we have developed software for large organisations, startups and smaller businesses.
We work on e-commerce platforms, mobile applications, Big Data systems and integrations. Running projects also means planning team workloads, handling employee matters and accounting for costs.
Tasks were only part of what we needed.
We used Jira for years. HR matters, requests, procedures and billing were handled in separate tools. We built the missing features ourselves.
We created say.work to bring these areas together. Time logged against tasks can feed customer billing, and work planning can account for team absences.
A product tested through daily work.
Building say.work took three years of architecture, programming, interface design and testing. Our own company's processes provided the reference point.
We develop a system we use ourselves. In one place, we manage projects, employee matters, finance, customer contacts and equipment records.

We have a tool to migrate projects, tasks and work history from Jira. Deployment on your company's own servers is also available.
